Friday, September 28, at 6:30PM - Teen Idol - Come show us your singing talents!

Friday, October 5, at 6:30PM - Rock Climbing Wall - We will have a rock climbing wall for you to try to make it to the top!

Friday, October 12, at 6:30PM - Self Defense - Bassai karate will be here to give us some tips on how to protect ourselves and stay safe! Wear comfortable clothing!

Friday, October 26, at 6:30PM - Food Program - help us create some delicious foods to eat together!

Friday, November 2, at 6:30PM - CSI Wyoming - learn how to catch those criminals!

Friday, November 16, at 6:30PM - DDR Championships! - Compete with others to see who will be the 1st annual DDR Champion at the Wyoming Library!

Friday, November 16th at 6:30PM - Overnight Lock in at Wesley Park Church!

They are the Grand Prize Winners of the Walt Disney Trip to Florida!

We are very happy that one of our Wyoming families won this awesome trip!

Their Miranda TV interview will be shown at various times next week on channel 8!

K-9 Search Dogs

K-9 ONE Search and Rescue Dogs

A volunteer search and rescue team came to the library and demonstrated their dogs' abilities. The dogs' specialities include disaster, cadaver, and wilderness air scent trailing.

Summer Reading Club is underway!

It is time to Get a Clue @ Your Library! Our programs have already started, but it is not too late to come to the library and sign-up! Just remember to turn in your completed reading logs by the first week in August!

If you are going into 6th grade or higher you can now sign-up online! Just visit our homepage at http://www.kdl.org/ and go to the Teens page and click on Summer Reading Club. Just remember to stop in to fill out your paper raffle tickets so you can have a chance to win gift certificates to Target, Best Buy, Rivertown Crossing Mall, Meijer, and more!

Jedi Knight visits the library

Wyoming had our very own Jedi Knight visit during our Star Wars program. Kids got to make their own light saber, yoda puppets, and become a Jedi Knight! Fun was had by all!

Shaker Egg songs!

Wondering what to do with those plastic eggs after the holiday is over? Why don't you make some of your very own instruments! Put uncooked rice and/or macaroni in an egg, tape them up so they don't "pop open", and shake away! Here are some of our favorite songs to sing with our shaker eggs.
